Angel Fong, a native of Tegucigalpa, the capital of Honduras, is our Tour leader and Guide. He has a deep love for his country and as a member of the Scout Association of Honduras, the Junior Chamber International and the Honduran Association of Ornithology he has done volunteer work for over 20 years.
In his former life he was a credit analyst and software programmer, but due to his passion for birds and nature he decided to take a 180 turn on his career and got certified as an advanced birding guide with the support of USAID and Proparque. He was quickly renowned for his passion and knowledge about birds, and after working as a guide for some time he decided to take the leap and start his own birding and eco-tourism company.
He is currently the coordinator for the “Honduras International migratory bird day´s”, organized by EFTA Environment of the Americas.
